What It Does

One screen for the whole go-live routine.

Sunday morning is not the time to retype a title into three websites. MJS Live Manager keeps the routine in one place, so the volunteer at the booth has one set of steps to follow.

Sets the live title and description on YouTube and Facebook together

Uploads the broadcast thumbnail to YouTube

Builds each title from a template with the date, a day or episode number, and the speaker

Loads the stream key for each destination into vMix or OBS

Starts and stops vMix or OBS streaming from one button

Checks that the encoder is running before anything goes live

Also streams video to TikTok and Instagram using the key each one issues

How It Uses Your Accounts

It only touches what the broadcast needs.

MJS Live Manager signs in to your accounts with your permission, and does nothing on them until you press a button. This is exactly what it uses and why.

YouTube

MJS Live Manager uses YouTube API Services to:

find your upcoming or active live broadcast;
set its title and description;
upload the thumbnail you choose;
read its stream key and ingest address, so it can load them into your encoder.

It does not read comments, viewers, analytics or subscribers, and it does not delete videos.

Facebook

MJS Live Manager uses Meta's Graph API to:

list the Pages you manage, so you can pick one;
read that Page's follower count, only to check Facebook's 100-follower rule for going live;
create the live video when you ask, and set its title and description.

It does not read messages, comments, posts, analytics, or who follows your Page.

Where your information stays

Access tokens and stream keys are stored on your own computer in Windows Credential Manager. Facebook sign-in passes through our licensing server so the app's Meta credentials never ship inside the installer; the server hands your token straight back and keeps no copy. Taking access back

Press Sign out on the YouTube or Facebook card in the app at any time. You can also remove access from your Google Account permissions or from Facebook Business Integrations.
