MJOHN SOLUTIONS™ respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide when using our website and MJS Live Manager.
MJS Live Manager is provided by MJOHN SOLUTIONS™, based in Massachusetts, United States.
For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, contact info@mjohnsolutions.com.
We may collect limited information when you use our website, including:
We use this information to respond to inquiries, maintain website security, diagnose technical problems, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information or use it to create advertising profiles.
MJS Live Manager is desktop software that runs on your own Windows computer. It connects to the YouTube and Facebook accounts you choose so it can set your live broadcast's title, description and thumbnail, and load the matching stream keys into vMix or OBS. It acts on those accounts only when you tell it to.
Access tokens and stream keys are stored on your computer through Windows Credential Manager. They are never written to the app's logs and are not kept by MJOHN SOLUTIONS™. Signing in to Facebook briefly passes through our server without being stored, as explained under Facebook and Meta Services below.
If you add TikTok or Instagram as a streaming destination, you paste in the stream key that platform issues for your broadcast. MJS Live Manager keeps that key on your computer and passes it to your encoder. It does not sign in to TikTok or Instagram or read anything from those accounts.
MJS Live Manager may communicate with our licensing service to verify activation and provide support. The limited information used for this purpose may include a secure device identifier, computer name, application version, and the account or organization name entered during setup.
We use this information only for licensing, activation, security, and customer support. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Church Ledger is church management software. A church can run it on its own computer, or subscribe to the version we host for it at the church's own web address. Where we host it, each church's records sit in a separate database, and only that church's officers can sign in to it.
A church's records hold what the church itself enters: names and contact details, families, birthdays, giving and expenses, and whether a person agreed to receive text messages. That information belongs to the church. We hold it to run the service, act on the church's instructions, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
Hosted churches are backed up nightly so records can be restored after a mistake or a failure, and a church can download its own backup whenever it wants one. When a church asks us to delete its data, its database is removed and its backups age out within thirty days.
A church that adds texting sends announcements and birthday greetings from its own phone number. We send them on the church's behalf, through a messaging carrier, and only to people the church has recorded as having agreed to receive them.
Mobile phone numbers and consent to receive text messages are never sold or rented, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes or for marketing. They are used only to send that church's own messages, and are passed only to the messaging carrier that delivers them.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Each hosted church also publishes a page of its own describing what it sends, how people join, and how they stop.
When you connect Facebook, MJS Live Manager uses Meta's Graph API to:
The app requests only the permissions these features need. It does not read your private messages, comments, posts, analytics, or the names of the people who follow your Page, and it does not publish or change anything unless you start that action.
Your Page access token and Page name are stored on your computer in Windows Credential Manager and are used to communicate with Meta directly.
When you sign in through MJS Live Manager's own Facebook app, the one-time sign-in code Facebook issues is sent to the MJOHN SOLUTIONS™ licensing server. The server exchanges that code with Meta for your access token and passes the token straight back to your computer. It does not store the code or the token and does not write either to its logs. We do it this way so the app's Meta credentials never have to be included in the software you install.
MJS Live Manager uses YouTube API Services. When you connect a YouTube channel, the app uses the YouTube Data API to:
Access is used only for these features and only when you start the action. The app does not read your comments, viewers, analytics, or subscriber information, and it does not delete videos from your channel.
Your Google access token is stored on your computer in Windows Credential Manager and is used to communicate with Google directly. It is never sent to MJOHN SOLUTIONS™ and is not kept on our servers.
By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove MJS Live Manager's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
MJS Live Manager's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
